According to a meta-analysis of 58 studies covering more than 19,000 people in 15 countries, being able to identify with your peers at work contributes to both psychological and physiological well-being. Published in the Personality and Social Psychology Review journalin October 2016, the study found this to be the case for completely disparate industries, including sales, service, healthcare and military work.
